Loved to wear them on the Latin Billboards Awards 2017!

Not only did I get to know a lot of interesting people, I was also inspired and especially enjoyed conversations with people who still kept their friendly and human nature despite of their success, which a lot of times isn’t the case in this business, since the music business is quite a tough terrain to walk on.

It also felt as if this trip was a step into the right direction, I strongly felt that already on my way to Miami.
Sometimes from a mind’s perspective certain things don’t make sense yet, when our heart already knows the way

If we let guidance happen we are always on the right path.

I am so excited to launch my new single soon! I co-wrote the song with the amazing Spanish hit team “Mark Portmann & Edgar Cortázar”. It is the first song that I ever sang in Spanish and I really enjoyed the experience of expressing myself and singing in Spanish. It felt so natural and familiar that I decided to record more songs in this passionate language

I feel fortunate to soon breathe Latin American air for a while in the course of my promotion tour in several Latin American countries.

Now my next stop is Miami. The occasion: Billboard Latin Music Conference & Awards 2017

I am happy to announce that I had a successful meeting with Edgar Cortázar and Norma Duran, both big names in the Latin American music market, where I am going to launch my first single soon!

Edgar has worked with stars like Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato. He is ‘THE’ lyricist if it comes to making a Spanish version of an English hit song and Norma is a highly sought after music promoter in the Latin American scene.

Since I was asked now several times why I released an old song again and why there was no orchestra involved in this one, although I had announced that I was working on orchestra recordings, I think I should explain this a bit further.

“Without You” is a song that I released in the year 2002 and that did pretty well in the Spanish charts.
I wanted to make a new version of something that fans might still know as a reminder of those times before coming up with the brandnew songs!

“Without You – Twin Flame” is the new version of the song from the year 2002. Part of the lyrics are new.

Right now there is only the old version on YouTube, where fans uploaded the song with content that they chose themselves without my permission. That’s why I explicitly distance myself from videos and pictures that display half-naked women or other unserious content! I didn’t upload those and it is hard to make people take down things like that from the internet.
Right now I work on the official video for the single “Without You – Twin Flame”, so within short there will finally be the new version of the song on YouTube as well!

On the upcoming album there will be brandnew songs, a lot of them were recorded with orchestra. The only song you already might have heard is “Remember Me,” but on the album the song will have orchestra on. <3

Mein aktueller Song „Without You – Twin Flame“ klingt auf die Schnelle nach einem ganz normalen Liebeskummer-Popsong, doch bei genauerem Hinhören ermutigt er sanft, über die Thematik des „Nicht-Geliebt-Werdens“ und „Nicht-Lieben-Könnens“ nachzudenken.

Viele Menschen verstecken sich hinter einer Maske, um ihr wahres „ich“ zu schützen. Sie errichten eine Schutzmauer, hinter der sie sich verstecken, weil sie denken, dass sie so ihre Gefühle schützen können. Sie haben Angst, verletzt zu werden, deshalb entscheiden sie sich, niemanden richtig nah an sich ranzulassen und verschliessen ihr Herz, sodass sie nicht angreifbar sind. Dabei lassen sie ausser Acht, dass sie sich nicht nur vor einer möglichen Verletzung schützen, sondern gleichzeitig auch die Liebe aus ihrem Herzen ausschliessen.

„Without You“ erzählt von genau dieser Erfahrung, die jemand macht, indem beim geliebten Menschen dieser Schutzmechanismus greift und dieser Mensch sich daraufhin plötzlich zurückzieht, sowie von der Trauer, die den Verlassenen überfällt und die alles rundherum eintrübt.

Oft suchen wir die Liebe und das Glück im Aussen, bei einem anderen Menschen und es fühlt sich so an, als wäre das Leben nur schön, wenn dieser eine Mensch an unserer Seite ist und unsere Liebe erwidert.

Wenn wir allerdings bereit sind, in uns hineinzuhören, uns selbst zu fühlen und wir den Mut haben, unser Herz wieder zu öffnen und Liebe in unseren Schmerz fliessen zu lassen, dann sind wir auf dem Weg zurück in die Liebe, die Liebe in uns, um uns herum und zu einem anderen Menschen.

„Without You“, ein Song, um in Erinnerungen zu schwelgen, nachzudenken oder einfach nur den vergangenen Sommer erneut zu hören und zu fühlen und die Seele baumeln zu lassen.
