I have a bird story for you as an example for the complexity of our thoughts.

When I was in Egypt for a few days, I saw how a bird was trying to drink from the water in the pool. He was sitting on the rim of the pool, where the mark in the picture is. Right beside where the bird sat, there would not have been a rim, he would have been right at the water and could have drunk without any effort.

Still the bird was trying to get a beakful of water while he was staying on the rim, but it was just too high for him. He was trying so hard,  but he didn’t succeed to get his beak into the water. What he didn’t see was that if he had taken only two steps to the left, there would not have been a rim and he could have drunk without any problem.

Sometimes we cannot see the wood for the trees. We think that things have to work a certain way and we are trying to push into that direction. If we would step aside and look at the situation again, we would probably see different ways and maybe even better solutions.

This post is all about friendship.

I have just had my birthday and my girls and I decided to have a “girls night” and celebrate together. 

We had a wonderful time together, nice talks and a lot of fun and I thought by myself: “why don’t we do this more often?” 

In these times we are so consumed with working and doing what we have to do that we often feel exhausted and can’t find the energy to spend time with the people that are actually important to us – along the lines of “I’ll see my friends when I have done this and that and when I have more time”, but our tasks just never seem to lessen, so time flies by… 

Find time for your friends, real friendship is priceless, cause real friends are your companions no matter what. They laugh with you, when you are happy, they cry with you, when you are sad. They lift you up, when you feel you can’t go on anymore. They give you new insights, embrace you, are there for you, but never judge you for things you have done or should have done. They are simply there, listening, helping with an open heart filled with love.

“Like attracts like – you get what you expect.”

For those of you who haven’t heard of “the law of attraction,” I will try to explain how its principles work and for those of you who already know about it, well then it is just a quick reminder to watch your thoughts

What you want already exists as pure potential in The Universe, The Great Divine, but not yet in your reality. To attract it into your reality, you need to focus your thoughts on it and you need to expect it, without having doubts. Doubts only delay its fulfillment, so that you have to wait longer for your desired results, sometimes indefinitely. Envision how you already have what you want and already feel the joy and the happiness that you will feel when it becomes your reality, like this you get it as quickly as possible – as quickly as The Universe and the angels can coordinate certain things to make it happen ;-)))

Life is like a canvas, on which you paint your experiences.
So paint with as much expression and different colours as you can and be open to try out new painting techniques, new brushes and different shades. And if some brush strokes seem to have ruined your picture, don’t become desperate, because maybe they take you in another direction and lead to an even more beautiful picture you wouldn’t have dreamed of before.

Das Leben ist wie eine Leinwand, auf der wir unsere Erfahrungen aufmalen. Male deshalb mit soviel Ausdruck und so vielen verschiedenen Farben wie möglich und sei offen für neue Maltechniken, neue Pinsel und unterschiedliche Schattierungen. Und wenn manche Pinselstriche daneben gehen und es so aussieht, als hätten sie dein Bild ruiniert, dann verzweifle nicht, denn vielleicht sind es genau diese “Schandflecke”, die dich in eine neue Richtung führen und schlußendlich zu einem viel schöneren Bild führen, an das du vorher nie gedacht und das du dir nie erträumt hättest.
