Twin flames, soul mates, eternal lovers….

To all of you who have ever loved with all their heart and soul: “Remember Me” 

Meeting someone & knowing that you have met before…

…but not in this lifetime. 

I wrote a song about it, about an eternal love, a love on a soul level, a love that lasts over lifetimes…

I am pleased to announce that the video for my ballad “Run” is now online.

We shot in beautiful places, like the Tuscany in Italy and the labyrinth in Salem, Germany. My team and I chose shooting in those places, because the scenery allowed us to beautifully illustrate the situation of being trapped and surrounded by walls, but still finding a way out, no matter how tricky the situation may be. The message is to never linger on to the past, cause it’s already gone, but to be confident of a new beginning, a new life, to always look for solutions, no matter how small the steps may be that you take at at time. Sometimes you make progress quickly and are able to exit circumstances that no longer fit you pretty fast and sometimes you get ahead slowly or even stand still, but always know that if you want to improve your life, you will find ways. Go ahead, a promising horizon awaits you!

We’ll work on a ballad version of the song “Run,” whose original uptempo version is going to be featured on MTV’s show “I used to be fat.”

This version will sound completely different from what you have heard so far from me and I can’t wait to show you that side of me!

Since it has always been a dream of mine to work with a small string ensemble or even a big orchestra, I am very much looking forward to the recording session at the legendary Ocean Way Studios and I’m as excited as a child at Christmas, anxiously waiting for the handing out of presents!

I’m not only talking about the workload if you plan on doing it all by yourself, or the financial aspect, but you suddenly face basic questions when starting such an exciting endeavor, questions like “How can I enrich people’s life through music?”, “What is it I want to express?”, “What do I want” and “WHO AM I?”

So I started on writing and trying myself out musically, I was working on songs as demos, while I put others “in the drawer”, some ideas and songs landed in the wastepaper basket of my computer, while yet others ended up with other artists. 

Sometimes I had the chance to collaborate with some incredibly talented songwriters and I’m thankful for that experience, since it helped me grow artistically and sometimes it made me want to tear my hair out when nothing worked out and inspiration just didn’t strike.  

All in all I figured it’s kind of a long process to get to the point where you can say: “This is it now” and this is one of the reasons why it sometimes takes quite long until artists release new material, me included :-))

Anyway, I would like to let you know that I am teaming up with some renown arrangers and producers now to finish my album and I am very much looking forward to share it with you!
